"Metalko" Ltd. as an independent company has acted since June 1992. "Metalko has been separated from structure of Chemical Plant "Zachem" in Bydgoszcz, took over stuff and technical beck-up facilities and hinterland. Three divisions have been established as a result of transformation:

• Manufacturing Equipment Division 

• Anticorrosion Division 

• Compressor Overhauls and Machining Division 

At the same time we have became a continuator of over 40 years experience and tradition in mechanical branch.

The company employs about 220 employers taking activity in: 

• production and overhauls of industrial equipment for chemical and petrochemical industries as well as related industries.

• production of apparatus and piping made of plastic.

• high quality services within the field of anti-corrosion works

• overhauls of compressors, pumps and other machinery with rotation elements

• general realisation of investment undertakings.

Most products made by METALKO have been manufactured for Polish customers but some are also exported, e.g. to Norway , Sweden, Germany and Switzerland

 

The Manufacturing Equipment Division is specialised in production of stationary and movable pressure vessels, storage tanks for dangerous liquid and materials, various types of heat exchangers, towers reactors and mixers, belt and screw conveyors and different type of steel structure. Moreover have been done service within a fabrication and an overhaul of cistern to be a subject of Railway Office of Technical Inspection as well as within regeneration of fittings.
The Anticorrosion Division offers a wide rang of corrosion protection for steel constructions and equipment depending on the condition of use , proper type of linings and selected application technology.
The Compressor Overhauls and Machining Division is specialised in services with regard to the inspection and maintenance of lifting and hoisting equipment as well as the provision of specialised services in the field of repairs of other machines and equipment, in particular for chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, printing, food and other related industries. Furthermore we are capable to rebuild and repair various types of compressors, blowers, and fans, as well as other apparatuses with rotating elements.
